European postgraduate certificate in pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology.
Eu2P aims to improve the knowledge and understanding of medicines-related risk and integrated benefit-risk by implementing a European training and education platform in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology for academia, industry and regulatory bodies.
The Eu2P postgraduate certificate is delivered by a unique consortium composed of 7 universities, 15 pharmaceutical companies, the European medicines agency and the French medicines agency, that have signed the programme and diploma agreements
Eu2P targets specialists such as pharmacists, physicians, scientists and experienced professionals but also non-specialists such as media representatives, laypersons and patients especially for risk communication training.
The programme is 100% online and is open to any professional or student in the world. You can stay at job or at home to study, you do not need to travel even examinations are online. You thus need a good computer and Internet broadband to perform your diploma. Indeed, 70% of our students are professional and manage their Eu2P diploma while they work at full time or part-time, it's up to you!

- Get a European academic Certificate
The Eu2P Certificates leads to academic Awards in pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology jointly delivered by the European Universities working together as Eu2P partners.
Standard and extended Eu2P certificates learning achievements are recognized as respectively 3 and 6 ECTS credits in the framework of the Bologna process.
Eu2P offers 25 Certificate trainings at the introductory, intermediate and advanced level in :
- Basics for pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology
- Benefit assessment of medicines
- Medicines pharmacovigilance and regulatory aspects
- Medicines risk identification and quantification
- Medicines benefit-risk assessment
- Medicines and public health
- Medicines risk communication

2. Choose a flexible online programme
Time availability compliance
Awarded for e-learning quality, Eu2P online courses are followed at home and on job premises at your convenience. The average course workload is one day a week over a 3 or 6 months period (depending on the course weight). The Certificate diploma is awarded after a final assessment session.
Graded expertise level
You can choose between introductive, intermediate or advanced Certificate courses level fitting your background and needs!
Contrôle des connaissances
The Eu2P Certificate assessment process encompasses grade-based and pass / fail assessments.
Each module is assessed through a combination of continuous and final examinations according to the module coordinator instructions.
Specific periods for examinations are scheduled along the year.

Joint assessment policy
Theoretical training assessment is organised module by module and is conducted in English.
All Eu2P modules are assessed by each module teaching team.
The grade is determined by the respective module coordinator and based on local grading system
Local grades are converted into the Eu2P grading system according to the common grading table approved each year by the Eu2P Examination Board
Once your on-line application file is complete, it is sent to the respective Domain Board.
The Board ranks Eu2P applicants for each of the training:
- Eligible list: you are eligible for immediate registration.
- Waiting list: you could be eligible, provided that some "Eligible list" applications are cancelled.
- Non-eligible list: your application data are not approved for registration.
You will be warned about your application status by the Eu2P Central Office by e-mail.
The application procedure and the selection process are the same for all candidates, regardless of whether you come from Eu2P partners or not, from European or third countries.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be fluent in English (see Application process FAQ for details)
- Be familiar with computer use and have Internet access
- Submit a complete on-line application, together with all supporting documentation required (diplomas, certificates, letter of motivation...) by the end of the application deadline
